Seeing Elizabeth Gaskell’s House

My project colleague, Ellie (link to her blog here) and I visited Elizabeth Gaskell’s House on Wednesday 24th of January 2018. We found our visit very inspiring and informative and have now significantly developed our project ideas. The space lends itself to many different types of activity – there are large seminar rooms in which you can do your activity with the children after they are inspired by a tour around the house. Below is the floorplan that is given in a pamphlet about the house:
